Bambolingua Terms of Use

Bambolingua is operated by Nuovo LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms cover your use of the Bambolingua mobile learning service and bambolingua.com. By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Age eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Bambolingua. The service is intended for teenage and adult learners and is not directed to children under 13.

If you are under 18, or under the age of legal adulthood where you live, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms and permit your use of the service. Any purchases must also have the necessary authorization. Additional requirements under applicable law still apply.

Learning progress and optional accounts

You can start learning without creating an account or providing an email address. Where account recovery is available, you can choose to set it up in Settings. Provide accurate account information and keep verification codes private.

Learning progress is stored on your device. Removing the app or clearing its data may remove that progress. Recovery depends on whether a saved copy is available through an enabled recovery feature or your device's backup system. Restoring a store purchase and restoring learning progress are separate processes.

Paid access and trials

Some content or features may require a purchase or subscription. The offer shown before purchase describes the included benefits, price, billing period, and any trial or introductory offer. Payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play and are subject to the applicable store's terms.

Using free introductory lessons does not start a subscription or authorize a charge. A subscription or subscription trial starts only when you accept the purchase offer through the store. Trial eligibility and duration are shown with that offer.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the stated billing period unless you cancel before the applicable renewal deadline. An accepted free trial converts to a paid subscription at the disclosed price unless you cancel in time. Any price changes follow applicable store rules and law, including notice and consent requirements.

Cancellation and refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the store account used for the purchase:

Cancellation generally leaves paid access available until the end of the period already paid for, subject to refunds, applicable law, and the store's terms. Check the store's confirmation for when access ends, including for trials. Deleting the app or a Bambolingua account does not cancel a store subscription.

Refund eligibility follows applicable law and the relevant store's policies. You can request a refund through Apple or Google Play. You can also contact us for purchase-related help. Your statutory refund and consumer rights are preserved.

App license and learning materials

For the iOS app, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the app license. These Terms supplement that agreement for the Bambolingua service and do not replace it. If these Terms conflict with the standard agreement on an app-licensing matter, the standard agreement controls. Applicable app-store usage and purchase rules also apply.

You may use Bambolingua and the content available to you for personal learning, subject to these Terms and the applicable app license. Our lessons, recordings, images, videos, branding, and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not sell or redistribute them without permission, except where permitted by law or an applicable license.

Use the service lawfully. Do not bypass access or payment controls, interfere with the service, or access another person's account without authorization.

Service updates and access

We may improve or update lessons and features, and the service may be temporarily unavailable during maintenance or technical problems. We will provide notices and remedies required by law for changes affecting paid services.

We may restrict or end access for serious or repeated violations of these Terms, fraud, unlawful activity, or security threats. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not remove any refund or other rights you have under law.

Privacy and your legal rights

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and how to contact us about your data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. You may contact us about a concern without giving up your right to seek other remedies available under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will publish the updated Terms with a revised effective date and give notice of material changes before they take effect, except where an immediate change is required by law. Where the law requires your agreement to a change, we will obtain it.
